In order to ensure our independence, nightlight does not receive any government funding. We rely on donations from people like you for everything we do–from day to day operations to helping people in crisis. Giving is one way to partner with us in God’s work in our cities. As we give our resources in ways that will benefit others, we grow into the people God wants us to be. Giving is a spiritually healthy thing to do!
What can I offer?
Cash donations made to nightlight Canada are used to run all nightlight locations according to their need.
We currently accept online donations through Canada Helps. Links should appear in the sidebar at the right side of your browser window (or below the main content area on some mobile devices).
During the month of June, we are participating in the Great Canadian Giving Challenge through the Canada Helps website. For every $1 you donate in June, nightlight gets 1 chance to win $10,000. That money would go towards a special event, such as a day out at Camp Iawah for guests (specific plan yet to be determined).
You can also mail a cheque or send us a donation via e-transfer through your bank. Just use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to meet with us regarding making a financial contribution, please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Giving by pre-authorized withdrawal straight from your bank account is quick and easy to set up, and it ensures that we spend the lowest amount possible on bank fees. If you’d like to set up an automatic bank withdrawal for nightlight, download our automatic bank withdrawal form, fill it in, sign it and return it to us by email or post. If you use Adobe Reader or Acrobat, you can fill in all the fields using your computer with the exception of the signature.

Thank you for partnering with us!
We are pleased to offer a Charitable Tax Receipt for all cash donations. Donations given through Canada Helps are receipted immediately after donation by Canada Helps.
But I don’t have much to offer
Every little bit counts. We’d far rather have a lot of small donors than a few big ones. Small, regular donations are a big help to us as they help even out our cash flow and help us plan for the future. Would you consider a pledged monthly donation as low as $10? Its the equivalent of a couple of cups of coffee at a coffee shop. You’ll essentially be treating someone to coffee each month. While our coffees don’t come with fancy names they are served with love and the promise of relationship. That makes them the most special kind of coffee there is.
